5/31/2015 is the deadline for submitting your data for SHIP Client Contacts, and Public and Media (PAM) Events for April, 2015.
You are required to submit your Resource Report data, for the grant year ending March 31, 2015 by May 31, 2015.


SHIP users and agencies within each state must follow guidelines of their state SHIP agency to comply with the above deadline.

SHIP NPR system will be down and unavailable for any data entry, report writing, record editing, or other uses from 12:01 am EDT on Thursday, June 4, 2015 until 12:01 am EDT on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Click Here for more information.

Program Summary: Washington's Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) has been in existence for over 30 years under the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner. The SHIBA provides free, unbiased information about healthcare coverage and access to help improve the lives of all Washington State residents. We cultivate community commitment through partnership, service, and volunteering. Assistance is offered to consumers of all ages and walks of life through a network that includes over 400 volunteers, 21 non-profit organizations who sponsor the program at the local level, and numerous community-based partners. A cadre of bi-lingual volunteers, translated publications, and the AT&T Language Line allow SHIBA to help all clients regardless of English language literacy. SHIBA participates in several initiatives including the Senior Medicare Patrol Project to prevent fraud, waste and abuse.
